During the inauguration of his own futsal sporting complex in Bogota, Colombian striker Juan Pablo Angel of the New York Red Bulls declared that it would be a dream come true to return to Argentine giants River Plate in the future. 2. If MLS offers enough he will finish in the USA. I doubt he wants to uproot his family so quickly. Possible, of course! Contract banter is always fluff until it’s signed, dotted, and sealed.

  4. If NYRB bring in Henry and he stays healthy they really wouldn’t have a reason to keep a second DP striker. Angel doesn’t sell any tickets.

  6. Though Red Bull may not need him with Henry eventually coming in, he could be a huge help to a number of MLS teams with the money and DP spots to use. DC would sign him in a hurry, and it wouldn’t be too far of a drive from NJ.

  8. It’d be a shame for NYRB to let Angel get away of they had a choice…he’s been the only reason to watch them since Jozy and DVB left!
