Kansas City Wizards midfielder Roger Espinoza has reportedly had his request to be loaned to a team in the Honduran league turned down by Wizards head coach and technical director Peter Vermes. Espinoza had been pushing for a loan that would have allowed him to play in his home country in the months leading up to the 2010 World Cup in hopes of improving his chances of making Honduras’ squad to South Africa.
