  2. Cool stuff interspersed with weird references to baseball and basketball. What’s that all about?

  4. really Derek,
the commercial wouldve been better by showing amazing goals over the dynamo history…you know, like goals made from 40yrds out.

  6. MLS is trying to set itself apart from all the other sports but I guess in Houston they don’t get it. What do you expect from the state of Bush.

  8. I’m not sure what the logic is with the other sports being involved. I remember DCU had a Washington Nationals baseball player do an Open Cup commercial as well. I don’t quite know where the benefit lies.

  10. weird concept, but at least they’re advertising. hats off to the dynamo FO for that…. hopefully they see some success from this advertising and manage to pack the stands on november 8th!

  14. A – your a dumbass. MLS wants to expand it’s popularity with every sports fan, not alienate it, also Bush is the man.

  18. Right on Hubcap, the goal of the organization is to promote itself to fans of exciting sporting events and not necessarily soccer fans. This appeals to the casual observer. Having said that, Houston has enough real soccer fans that they should be going after instead.

  22. “Bush is the man”. I respect your opinion but I wish you were paying a bit more attention, because if you were you would never say that.

I think Houston are going for a city pride thing with this commercial. That’s cool.
