INCOMING: Rafa Marquez to LA Galaxy?

Posted by MLS Rumors Monday, December 1, 2008

We just received this e-mail from our good friends of MLS en Espanol.net...

Hey guys,

I know it is a crazy rumor but I posted on my blog anyway. I found it on today's issue of El Heraldo de Honduras.

The article was mainly about "Muma" Bernardez, an Honduran player currently playing for Motagua who will probably join Los Angeles Galaxy next year.

Everything was fine (realistic) until the last parragraph where it says that "another candidate [to join LA Galaxy] is Rafael Marquez, who is currently playing for Barcelona in Spain".

Are they serious?

Cheers,
MLS en Espanol.net

What do you think about this? Do you believe there is a chance that Marquez would join LA Galaxy?

  2. If he pulls his vato kung-fu act on, oh, Eddie Robinson, Joey Franchino or Seth Stammler, he'll end up in a wheelchair.

  8. Marquez is NEVER coming to the MLS. That said, I hope he goes to a real team like Chivas USA and not the Bike Jousters.

    Joke team, joke fans.

  12. Given the 2002 WC veterans at the Galaxy (Donovan, Lewis, Cobi and Arena) I'm sure his head butt on Cobi and redcard would get things off on the right foot in that looker room. Let the fireworks begin!
