According to this story on Goal.com the Korean star and Asia's Beckham is in talks with "three mid-table teams in the eastern conference."
Story follows below:
South Korea's 2002 and 2006 World Cup hero Ahn Jung-hwan, is, according to reports in Seoul, wanted by a trio of MLS clubs.
The striker's good looks and silky skills led the international press to dub him 'Asia's Beckham' in the summer of 2002.
Ahn, 32, who scored against the US as well as Italy during the Korea/Japan tournament, spent last season in the K-league with Busan I'Park.
"There is a large amount of interest from MLS teams in Ahn Jung-hwan," a source close to the player told Seoul's International Daily.
"We sent videos of Ahn in action this year for the national team and in the K-league and there was a very positive reaction from three mid-table teams in the eastern conference."
The striker is already well-travelled with stints in Japan, Italy, Germany and France as well as South Korea under his belt and could be on his way Stateside if the price is right.
"There is a difference between the salary on offer by the US teams and the salary that Ahn requires but it is not a big difference," the newspaper added.
Ahn shot to global fame in 2002 after being fired by the owner of his club team Perugia for scoring the goal that sent Italy crashing out of the competition.
So who do you think are the 3 teams?

My best guess would be Chicago, New York, and DC United
Nice!!! His is a really good player and should add a lot of quality. MLS need players like him... Problem: a little OLD!
BTW: Any news about Zé Roberto?
This has TFC all over it. No wait...for once it's a non-TFC transfer rumor.
Why not bring in an Asian football star. Works in Baseball and Basketball to draw in more Asian fans.
This smells like a negotiation ploy. Goff already reported that his agent was shopping him to mls teams at a dp salary and there were no takers. Unless he dropped his salary demands I think this is just a negotiating ploy.
I don't think Chicago needs him. my best guess is New York (with the CCL and new stadium), DC, and maybe just maybe New England.
He WAS a good player although to be honest I have not seen him play in a while.
Can't really see him in DC or Chicago. New York would be my guess.
I am a devouted Ahn fan and have been follwing his progress after his international 2002 heroic play at the world cup. For the ppl who say he is too old, what about schellotto? The guy is like 35? 36? Age isnt much of a factor in your early 30s. Sure your speed and endurance slightly declines but ONLY SLIGHTLY if you consider a 32 year old. Ahn is an amazing technical player and has great individual skill that would require MLS defender to double team him instantly!
YES! MORE ASIAN FOOTBALLERS IN MLS!!!
Seattle is a pretty obvious one because they are looking for one or two asian players because of the large asian population in the area. Others I bet are LA (bye Landon, have fun at BAYERN MUNICH!!) and Toronto.
but if the rumors are true, it says 3 eatsern conference teams....Damn! Regardless, there are alot of Koreans/Asians in California....so come to San Jose Ahn!! I also wouldnt mind if he went to Seattle. There needs to be a more noticible asian MLS fan base. Not just Whites and Hispanics
Now THIS is the other guy Seattle should have signed. They have a huge Korean population.
