Here's our story (on DynamoPlanet) from earlier:The important part is this from a Korean newspaper:안 정환의 미국 진출에 정통한 한 관계자는 18일 "안정환은 미국 프로팀 대부분이 존재를 알고 있을 만큼 지명도가 높았다. 그 가운데 뉴욕 레드불스・뉴잉글랜드 레볼루션・콜로라도 라피즈・치바스 USA 등 4개 구단이 영입제안을 한 걸로 안다"고 밝혔다.

뉴욕 레드불스는 올시즌 준우승한 강호. 동부리그에서 상위 3팀에 들지 못했지만, 승점이 높아 8강에 턱걸이한 후 8강에서 지난해 우승팀 휴스턴을, 준결승에서 레알 솔트레이크를 꺾고 결승에 진출했다. 아쉽게 결승에서 콜럼버스 크루에 1-3으로 져 준우승했다.

Ahn Jung Hwan will likely be going either to Chivas USA or RBNY if he's coming to MLS.

IM pretty sure that if Chivas is one of the frontrunners than Ahn wont get a DP salary from either team. If that happens than its a great pickup for which ever team gets him. Im hoping its Chivas USA but deep down inside im pretty sure Ahn will pick New Jersey/New York over LA.....Oh well i like both teams

New York. With the pressure their facing to deliver next season, i wouldn't be surprised if they signed him for a DP slot if their struggling to get someone of value.

This guy is not worth DP money. If RBNY are going for a DP they will definately go higher profile, and with Van Den Bergh being our first priority i can't see them spending max salary on this guy. Osorio publicly stated that he wants to trade the DP spot to create depth for 2 or 3 guys. This would not be worth the cap it would take up.

I've heard bad things about him. He's a very inconsistent player in the K-League and had a short spell in the J-League where he really dissappointed. Not worth DP money.
