Could the MLS number 2 be headed to the Gunners?

Arsenal are eyeing MLS deputy commissioner Ivan Gazidis as their new chief executive.
The Daily Mail says Gazidis, an Oxford University football Blue, has the credentials for the Arsenal role, having joined the MLS in 1994 as part of their founding management team. Now he oversees all aspects of the competition, as well as being involved in running football organisation CONCACAF.
But the problem for Arsenal will be tempting South African-born Gazidis to leave Connecticut because he recently turned down a seven-figure package to become Manchester City chief executive as he did not want to re-locate to England.
What do you think of Ivan Gazidis's tenure at MLS?

I really like Ivan from the interviews I've seen and read. I'd hate to see him go, but good on him if he takes the jobs.
