We received this rumor earlier today by email and have been trying to confirm part of it. We do know that one of our contributors did witness a pretty bad fight between Preki and Galindo and we were told he was in the doghouse. Anyway on to the rumor:

I hope to be able to contribute to your site by telling you that Mikel Gallindo, and Panchito Mendoza will not be back next season.
A friend of my who is close to several Chivas USA players, told me “gallindo is officially being sent to the sounders” I asked if she could give me more details but she said that’s all she knows. Maybe for some allocation money who knows?
As for Mendoza he has been contemplating a move to Mexico. He will seek a more lucrative offer in Mexico, but will more than likely not return next season.

Seattle won a USL Championship with Gallindo. Bring him back!
Seattle could be putting together a soild team. Especially since they plan on bringing in USL Sounders and have an expansion draft. Sounders to finish ahead of LAG next year, which might not be saying much.
If Mendoza leaves and Suarez retires, there goes any legitimate connection to Mexico -- which was Chivas USA's reason to exist, in the first place. No, Jorge Flores does not count; he's not even on the first team, yet.

Galindo has a bad sports hernia, we don't want him. He's had three operations in the last 6 months to try and repair it. No good risk for sounders.
