This is just another attempt by RSLFM to smear RSL, she is famous for this and with RSL making the playoffs she has to find someway to attempt to drag them through the mud.
That's lame....They were just partying because they made the playoffs for the first time ever. Watch other professional sports, I'm sure the "kids" who are under 21 drink champagne out of the stanley cup or a bottle when they win a championship.
Maybe they were in Canada? Who cares if they're drinking. Legal drinking age is 18-19 in like every other country in the world.

Sad thing is that MLSR is supporting this type of effort, I have lost a lot of confidence in this site over the choice to use content from a source that has such a devient agenda.

We made no assumptions. They were celebrating a win and yet still drinking prior to the playoffs.

If we reprinted some of the kinds of press players get on respected sites like Olé in Argentina you guys who think this is somehow "low" would be shocked at how easy we are on players.
Actually the image with the "mission accomplished" is a cheap shot, trying to again link RSL to the failed effort of Bush when he flew the same banner during the first months of the war in Iraq.
By posting the dates, including that of a underaged player who wasn't drinking is meant to insinuate that the kid was drinking.
This is typical of the stuff RSLFM does, I am fine with it but understanding the motive of the person doing it, makes things a lot clearer.
So your quote of "players drinking before the playoffs" like this picture was taken last night, is just shoddy. So no player would be allowed to drink a beer during the season by your logic. Sorry I think players and coaches having a beer after a hard fought road match that clinched the first ever playoff spot is worthy of celebration.
Instead RSLFM wants to taint the moment, the same way she tried to taint the fans who were in denver to support RSL, by posting pictures that would lead one to assume the worst.
Perhaps if you cared more about honest representation rather than trying to support someone with a huge agenda, your site would not catch the grief it often does on these type of reports.
In the absence of facts, fantasy and speculation run wild. And that realm is what other nations do to their sports stars, but I thought your site was better than that.

I guess I'm confused...is it a rumor that four guys of legal drinking age are drinking? I am shocked. That is shocking.
Maybe next you could dig up two guys smoking cigarettes, or putting change in a parking meter, or crossing the street in the crosswalk, or some other COMPLETELY LEGAL ACTIVITY.
Perhaps if you want to be like "Ole" then you should cover Argies. However, given your track record, I'm just surprised you didn't just flip the photo upside down and photoshop Besagno doing a keg stand. So by this logic, any time any of these guys have had a drink, it would have been prior to the playoffs. Kudos. I enjoy the rumors on this site, but this kind of stuff, with the Revs players in the hot tub, I can do without. OH MY PROFESSIONAL ATHLETES ARE HUMANS, AND DO NORMAL STUFF! WOW!
