So much so, they appear to be planning some special activities to mark their last game at Rice-Eccles Stadium this Saturday vs CD Chivas USA.
This was received this morning from our MLSR Email:
What's up MLSR?
Some of us are planning to make tomorrow a "special day". As you probably know it is our last game in Rice-Eccles Stadium. We decided to take things up a notch before we move into our own home. I don't wanna give it all away here but the TV cameras should keep an eye on the stands.
What do you think is going to happen? Massive tifo displays?

12 supporters going to show up, doubling the attendance?
Without saying too much, I do know that when the clock shows 90:00 you will see the stand erupt in some "form" of celebration.
I love this, but i mean...c'mon man, they barely have supporters, and ive heard little to nothing about their support. they have a chance to get known in their new stadium. but really...what are they gonna do.
nudity... lots of nudity.
Glad to see that horrible football turf gone and be able to go to our real (stupid pun) home.
Oh, and the stadium has pretty much sold out for the two games there this year and season tickets for next year are going quickly... so much for bashing the attendance duche bags
I think that maybe there are going to drink some alcohol or something, you know, go against their mormon rules. There so badddd.
I predict a mass divorce.
That new stadium is awesome. Can't wait to watch games there (on tv, of course) instead of on top of that nasty old-school astro turf. Man, that stuff makes BMO's pitch look like Wembley's.
Destroy the pitch. Not to keep a piece of the past, just cause. R-E was the worst stadium in MLS...RSL Stadium will put them on the map...not in a big way but on it.
Yeah, maybe they will have people in the stands
When the match starts..
I expect it is all talk and two or three people will
Do something stupid.
We're going to drink regular Diet Pepsi, not the caffeine-free version.
So what happened?
In order to show their disgust of the crappy field, when the clock said 87th minute, the three fans in attendance got up and left early in a mass-walkout protest. Take that Front-Office!
