It looks like Beckham and LA Galaxy are headed back to the Australia and New Zealand this winter according to this report from Australia's Live News.

David Beckham is set to return to Australian shores in December this year, with news negotiations for a matchup between the Queensland Roar and Beckham's LA Galaxy outfit are almost complete.

Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium has won the race to host the soccer superstar, with details to be made public in coming weeks.

"Negotiations are nearing completion to bring the Galaxy to Queensland following their match in New Zealand against the Oceania All Stars," a source close to the negotiations said tonight.

The Sydney match late last year was a resounding success, seeing more than 80,000 fans pack out Sydney's Olympic Stadium to watch Sydney FC down the LA Galaxy 5-3.
