In my native stadium in Brasil, the Mineirao also has a gap between the supporters and the playing field. although some drunk guy got passed, it, i dont know how, and the dogs ate him up (not literally), but the ditch looks like its 50 ft. down, and people actually hang, and sit on the fence bordering it....crazy people :D
That last photo reminds me of a house my family owns in Nicaragua. Gotta keep out the C.H.U.D. at night, you know.
