MLSNet.comThanks to an MLSR reader we now have an answer to a burning question we have had since we started..."Where are the Colorado Celebrity Fans???" Of course looking at most games at Dicks Sporting Goods park the question paled in importance to ones like, "When will Fernando Clavijo get the sack?, "Why is Colorado's best player, Christian Gomez riding the bench?" and more importantly, "Where are all the Colorado fans?"
Well the Rapids Front office has answered two of those questions. Fernando is gone and now we have a whole slew of Rapids Celebrity fans like:
Ciara - Pop/RnB Artist
Eduardo Najera - NBA Superstar
Kendall B - Kiss 107.5FM Radio Personality
Jeremy Sparks - Professional Bullfighter
Joe Sakic- Hockey Star (Colorado Avalanche)
Abby Wambach - US Women's National Team Striker
Heather Mitts - US Women's National Team Star
Nick Cage - KTCL 93.3 FM Radio PersonalityAll of this, of course, has now earned the Rapids their own section in our vast Celebrity MLS Fan Gallery, which you may want to check out since we recently updated it with among other things a photo of Lindsay Lohan at the Press room of the Home Depot Center during a Galaxy game. We're not sure when it was taken but we'd have to worry about Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham since Lohan has an ongoing wager that she can bed down with Becks.
I bet Ciara looks gooood in that jersey.

BTW, Joe Sakic is a pretty big star in the hockey world...don't know what the means for Rapids soccer, but I'm just throwing that out there.
I saw these photos on ColoradoRapids.com and thought gee, I bet they had to give away some of their gear just to get a few photos of some so called celebs. Most of the peeps are from Colorado or were in Colorado for a special event that the Rapids had (probably the only reason Ciara has a Rapids jersey).
there's 2 people on that list (of 8) that are celebrities...the rest are nobodys.
