Hey 'sup!? Keep my identity hidden but I just wanted to write you guys to tell you I read your site a lot. I'm not the only one. You guys sometimes gets talked about in the locker room as at least one player found out he was going to be traded there before the he got the news from the office.
You also cover the league like it is a serious league, something I think some of us have wanted for awhile now. So keep diggin for da dirt!
Ya'll have some notoriety in the locker room of at least one team in the league. And I'd bet others so don't listen to he critics and haters, just keep the good stuff comin' and you'll keep me and others as a fan.

I find it funny that your comment is anonymous. You must be pretty tough yourself. You must not read any other blogs or websites. MLS Rumours reports the stuff that has already been reported and then says someone "EMAILED" the story. I read this crap simply to get a laugh every now and then. Its funny when this site is three, four, even five days late with "breaking news."

The point of this site, from what I have gathered, is a one stop shop for the RUMORS that are out there...
Alot of people don't have all day to look around for information because we have jobs.
MSLR is fine as a RUMOURS site (yes I'm Canadian). This isn't Soccer By Ives where we can expect scoops backed by actual fact. These are rumours, which are fun, even though as a TFC supporter they consistently, without fail break my heart. As for it being a real league... MLS IS a real league but has to drop its inane roster rules, salary cap and let clubs own their contracts before it can increase its international presence.

I don't have the time to go thru multiple MLS sites for news/rumors/happenings.
For this reason, I don't mind if a site, such as MLSRumors, gathers info from multiple sources.

If ths site wants to keep readers and not seem so fake, they need to stop posting crap like this. They also need to make sure they source the REAL source and not say it was emailed to them. I have a hard time believing anything that is posted on here.

I usually stick up for MLSR, they have a purpose (think of BBC Rumors section).

This post, absolutely ridiculous. Even if it were from a real MLS player, why post? You always seem to post things to argue the credibility of the site.
Get over it, you serve a purpose, just do what you do. When a rumor turns out truth, don't say "see, we told you so". Keep it moving.

Sites like MLSR and www.mls-daily.com are part of my everyday surfing while I should be doing actual work.
If they mention a potential trade/signing involving my team, I naturally get excited. But if it doesn't happen, do I blame the site? No. And I still keep coming back.
Keep up the good work MLSR, even if the comments get turned off. I'll still be a loyal reader.
PS: I do agree that the 'we told you so' stuff is kinda bogus.

MLS Rumors is, shockingly, a site for rumors. Rumors are gossip, rumors are rarely substantiated before the fact, rumors can be glaringly wrong. That is the nature of rumor mongering. But since we know what we are getting with a site openly about rumors, what is all this faceless venom at there being rumors???
For myself, it's fun to hear of wild rumors which can be so glaringly off the mark. It is also fun to see some of those wild rumors end up hitting the target despite all what seems to me reasonable interpretation of what is going on. And it is fun to make wagers on which claims will fall into which camp.

This is a rumor site not a regular Journalism site. It isn't espnsoccernet where you except there to be crediable sources behind it. It is about speculation. Just read its banner to understand what the site is supposed to be about.

This is sad. I actually enjoy the rumors posted on this site (even if they don't turn out to be true) but I find it harder and harder to visit when completely useless stuff like this is posted or when you claim to do journalistic research when you are really just shoving your biases in our faces (ie the whole "crew fans are racists from germany who have no black fans or players" story you stuck with for way too long). Stick with the rumors and stop posting opinion pieces as factual and crap like this saying how great you are.
If MLSR simply reported rumors regarding the MLS and that alone, none of this would be an issue. If you want to be more than just a rumor site than that is cool, but don't hide behind the "rumor" title when you overstep your postings into things that are more than just rumors.
