"I thought we were going to get it done on Wednesday but there
have been a few lingering issues that we are trying to work out," Dynamo COO Chris Canetti wrote in an e-mail today. "The
latest proposal was shared with Nate's people this morning, and I'm
optimistic that it will come together."

Don't doubt it for a second: Jaqua will be in a Dynamo uniform by the end of the month.

Should Jaqua sign later today, expect the team to wait until next week, when the deal clears MLS, to make it official. The earliest Jaqua could play for the Dynamo is July 19, Canetti said.
