
According to this article in the Washington Examiner United looks to bolster their midfield depth before perhaps their last SuperLiga game against Houston.
"Midfielder Joe Vide, who was recently released by San Jose, is set to sign with D.C. United this afternoon, according to a source. Vide, who is slated to earn $33,000 this season, for the moment takes United's 18th and final open senior roster spot."

Wow, 33,000? That's not a lot of cabbage for a job that has you relocating 3 times in one year. I know the average MLS player don't make much, but this news makes a guy respect these guys a lot more.
Is this an average salary in MLS, how about USL? How does the players union feel about this?
