“Good relationships have led to some peer policing that has paid dividends” -Inspector. Paul Vorvis

Again some more Canadian Content thanks to our loyal red friends north of the border.

There was an interesting article from a Toronto newspaper about the Toronto Police Service and how they police and keep a watchful eye on potential trouble whilst maintaining good relationships with good fans. It touches on there adventure, challenges and steps they go through Policing games at BMO Field. It's basically a Police Perspective on soccer in Toronto.

MLSR was sent a link to the report which you can read here.

  1. Not really a Toronto "newspaper," that article is from the Toronto Police Service's own internal newsletter.

  3. There...You see? The Toronto Police Service is aware of the fact that the supporters groups are doing a good job of policing themselves. The "incidents" this site has talked about in previous months have not been due to the actions of supporters but of individual idiots that are not affiliated with the organized Toronto supporters organizations. Hopefully this context provided by the people responsible for our safety will open the eyes of a lot of your readers about what really goes on at BMO Field.
