Nothing new to the Paul Dickov story except the fact that he is now linked with the Red Bulls. Previously we posted about Toronto FC's interest in him.
According to this story on Sky Sports and this one on Setanta, he may come over during the summer window. Much seems speculative based on the fact that Osorio and Reyna were at Manchester City....
"former City team-mate Claudio Reyna and fitness coach Juan Carlos Osorio would be among the familiar faces in New York."
Considering Red Bull's horrible performance this past weekend at DC United, and considering one of their strikers is injured and the other most threatening one just sold to Villareal, they may just go for Dickov. What do you Red Bull fans think? Would you like Dickov up front?

Honestly if this is the quality of foreign signing MLS is going after the league is worse than the equivalent of a European 4th division. Is this a joke?
I hated his game in England, he was a yellow card waiting to happen. A total Napolean complex at work, a real dickov.

Well, since he was loaned out to Blackpool, in the CocaCola "Championship" League, and that is clearly the very best second division in Europe [Better than many first divisions of the smaller nations], you have only evidence, at the worst, for saying MLS is worse than the equivalent of a European 4th division.
Dickov, in truth, is a good striker, occasionally spectacular, who would be of value to NY. At least of value in the same way Dichio is for Toronto.
However, he, like Dichio, is absolutely not DP caliber.
As for his Napoleon Complex, it would be interesting to see how it would mesh with Osorio's Caesar complex.
he's like marcello gallardo, except without the talent and older.
3 cheers for mls..woo
