Soccer Insider's Steve Goff and ESPN's Ives Galrcep are reporting that it is a done deal between MLS, Altidore and Villarreal. Goff reports that:
"Terms of the transfer were not disclosed, but one source familiar with the negotiations tells me MLS will receive at least $12 million. It's just one source, but he/she is a good one. MLS had been seeking at least $10 million and had turned down an earlier offers from Villarreal and Reading, among others."
Villarreal is expected to loan him to Recreativo Huelva for one year to train him for the rigors of the famed La Liga.
