One thing we have learned recently is that news and rumor comes in bunches. A week or so ago we had a lot of Toronto FC and Canadian content coming to us. Now we have a bunch of DC United content.
Could the long saga of a DC United stadium finally be over?
We were sent this link by email to a video from Forbes Video Network where Kevin Payne, DC United's founder, President and CEO talks about the stadium and he seemed to indicate that an announcement on a completed DC United stadium deal would take place before summer with the stadium looking ever more likely to be built in the district. Good news for United fans.
The video can be watched here.
Or if your prefer our jerky, "Max Headroom-ish" version, you can watch the one we enclosed below. Don't ask. It got that way after we uploaded it.

Awesome news. No other team in the league deserves a stadium more than united. It will be kinda sad to leave RFK though. If only the upper bowl wasnt so big. We could still use it for bigger matches.
I hate United but they do desperately need a stadium. It'll be great to see them finally move out of that shithole RFK
