Time for some MLSR Canadian Content.
Here is one where MLSR has to in urban parlance say, "Hell to the no!"
Seriously folks, we couldn't make this up. If you thought the return of Brian McBride to MLS might be pushing it....
Paul Peschisolido will work out with Toronto FC on Monday.
"Two weeks short of his 37th birthday, Peschisolido is coming off the most painful and frustrating of his 16 seasons in English soccer. He tore up his Achilles tendon, and saw action just twice for a Luton Town team plunged into bankruptcy and doomed to relegation."In other words, the perfect Toronto FC signing. Clearly John Carver think this is a league of has-beens.

how bout you guys post the rest of the article where it clearly states that paul has established roots in england and is wanting to stay there, his trip to toronto is to train with paul winsper, and not some audition for the team
Oh right, of course, he would come allllll the way over to Toronto FC just to train.....right. As if there is no where in England he could train?
Try again cannuck
"Former Canadian international Paul Peschisolido was at BMO Field on Monday. The 36 year old striker is back home for a few weeks, and was invited to train with TFC by Carver. "I worked with Paul at Luton Town and got on really well with him," said Carver. "He was unfortunate because he picked up a few injuries when he was there and so he didn't get chance to play much. When Paul said he was coming over I told him to get his kit on, train with us and spend some time with us while he's here."
Smells like Training experience/coaching stuff for the younger guys on the squad.
yeah fucktard, british teams don't begin training until july. you moron, toronto is only a 7 hour flight from london. it isn't like he is flying across the globe. fuckin idiot
clearly jon carver won 3 in a row
Paul looked good today at training. He even scored a goal. He still has his scoring touch and speed. Also, people got to remember that he is a hero to a lot of older Canadian soccer fans. So for him to finish off his career in Toronto (his hometown; also where he started his soccer career with Toronto Blizzards) would mean a lot to the fans. Keep in mind that TFC don't have depth in striker position. So he can be a good short-term filler for TFC.
Also I like to point out that he still getting offers in England for next season. So I don't think he's done just yet.
Is the hate for TFC real or are you just trying to get some eyeballs on your blog from Canada?
I don't think they hate Toronto FC. I just think they were making the point that the league moved on from signing over 35 year olds back in the 1990s.
"Is the hate for TFC real or are you just trying to get some eyeballs on your blog from Canada?"
Their hate is for real! Just read their recent articles related to TFC and see how they disrespect us. You'll notice their tone being more harsh on TFC unlike their non-tfc articles.
I wish you assholes would stop shitting on Toronto FC, Carver, or anything related to Canada.
Pull your heads out of your assholes and realize that we're not going anywhere. We're here, get used to it.
Now FAH'KOFF
Anti-Canadian? Give me a break. Clearly you guys are too uptight and take yourselves far too seriously.
If you read most stories on this site you'd know that they are pretty irreverant.
The fact that Toronto FC gets so much coverage here and that the top banner if you haven't noticed is a TFC shirt must have escaped you.
I guess contributors who are obviously Canadian (judging from spellings of "rumours") also makes them Anti-Canadian.
Most MLS sites ignore you. There is more Cannuckistan stuff on this site than any other MLS related site which actually makes me wonder if it is run by Canadians...
You guys are a joke.
"Also I like to point out that he still getting offers in England for next season. So I don't think he's done just yet."
Getting offers from England to play for sides such as Luton Town and Dagenham FC?
Oh yes, of course, you're one of those people who probably believes 3rd tier English soccer is better than MLS.
And you wonder why we hate you.
"And finally, the Paul Peschisolido experiment appears to be over. He trained again Tuesday and was scheduled to fly back to England in the evening. Nothing happening for now, says Carver. The same thing applies to Darren Huckerby, who just won't seem to go away."

We get a lot of coverage from SoccerbyIves as well. What are the other MLS websites? I never knew we had more than 2. LOL
For the record, we get our own coverage from our local media. (TheScore, Globe & Mail, Toronto Star etc...). Too bad our media doesn't care about other MLS teams.
Just shows what a stupid pile of fuckheads troll this site.
We dont care you hate us, why would we care a bunch of inbred no footy-iq having yokels dont like us?
Other sites, ike that ever prestigious Big Soccer? Lol, pull yer heads o utta yer asses and accept it, we did in a year what half yer shithole cities couldnt in 10.
