Two things of interest on this one, multiple reports are saying that Ruud Gullit has told Fabio Capello that Beckham is fit enough for his 100th cap.


Then we have this email we received this morning:

"I wish to be anonymous but I can confirm that Franco Baldini , the General Manager who works with Fabio Capello is in Dallas, having arrived last night to watch Beckham in the charity friendly later today. He is here to see if he (Beckham) is fit and playing well enough to earn his 100th cap. His plane touched down at Dallas Fort Worth airport last evening and he will be a special VIP guest of the club (FC Dallas) at today's game."

By the way, that game, FC Dallas vs LA Galaxy kicks off at 8:30pm Eastern Time and can be watched for free world wide on www.fcdallas.com.

That game is widely believed to be a make up game for the heavily promoted SuperLiga match up last summer where many showed up to see a Beckham-less Galaxy edge FC Dallas in a pitched battle full of goals. Highlights from that game below:
