In what seems to be a sea change at the US Soccer Federation, by scheduling yet another friendly against a difficult opponent ahead of World Cup Qualifying. According to this report the US may face Iran in May . The match is rumored to be in the process of being finalized and would take place at the Home Depot Center home of David Beckham's LA Galaxy.

This would be the latest in a series of friendlies the US has scheduled or is rumored to be scheduling. The US will meet Poland on March 26 in Poland, England at Wembley Stadium May 28 , Spain on June 4 and Argentina on June 8 somewhere in the Northeastern US.
