Rating: 5 (Very good)

According to a source with Chicago Fire, and courtesy of Luis Arroyave's Red Card Blog, 25 year old goalkeeper has signed with Queens Park Rangers of England's Championship. On January 17th, it was announced that Matt was on trial at English Championship side Norwich City. However, it looks like Norwich didn't want him due to not being able to offer him first-team football. Other clubs in Europe are looking to sign him though. He then began training with Preston North End which apparently had no use for "Slim Pickens" but Queens Park Rangers did.

  6. I can't see how Pickens would get the action he wants at QPR as they have a bunch of other keepers on roster.

  8. I am not sure, but I think the work permit only pertains to the Premiership.
