Sky Sports in the UK is reporting that Chicago Fire goal keeper, 29 year old Matt Pickens is training with English Championship side Preston North End. Pickens rejected an offer from the Fire opting to explore his options in Europe. He recently had a trial with Norwich City and it is rumored that they are preparing an offer for him. Should Pickens go to Preston North End, he just might face the possibility of playing on the same side as his rival Taylor Twellman.

Matt has married his French Girlfriend...That makes him eligible for a euro passport. No need for a work permit.
