OUTGOING: Frank Yallop asked to resign next week.

Posted by MLSR Friday, August 24, 2007

MLSR has learned through a trusted source that Frank Yallop, coach of the LA Galaxy was asked to turn in his resignation after Sunday's game vs Colorado. "Yallop seemed almost relieved when he received the news. He has been under a great deal of stress and it looked as if the weight of the world had lifted off his shoulders." If this is true then Yallop will be gone before the Galaxy's next home game which is likely to be Beckham's next match vs Real Salt Lake on September 1.

  4. If this is true, Yallop will be available to take the reigns in San Jose!

  6. Whatever ails El-Lay goes a lot deeper than the coach. Sigi's last several weeks were terrible, Sampson's whole reign was terrible, except for the '05 playoff run, Yallop had the club playing fairly well the last half of '06, now they suck again. I'm really glad! :)

If Frank goes to San José, I'll be really happy.

  8. Yallop should never have been given the position nor should Sampson. Hopefully they shitcan him as soon as possible and never hire him again. Didn't he suck as the Canadian national team coach too?

They need to either find Octavio Zambrano and bring him back or hire Klinnsman or Peter Nowak.
